THE CATR MISSION
In a world where feral cats rule the streets, CATR is dediCATed to Catch, Alter, Treat, & Release.
TNR is the first focus. Helping pet owners coordinate low- or no-cost spay/neuter and transportation is the second. CATR also supports kitten fostering and socialization, medication administration, trapping, and colony management.

What is TNR?
TNR means trap, neuter and return. Community cats are humanely trapped, sterilized and returned when appropriate so populations can be managed without continually adding new litters.
Will I get my pet back?
If you are asking CATR for help with your own pet, tell us clearly that the cat is owned and provide identifying information. The plan should be discussed before any trapping or veterinary appointment so everyone understands the intended outcome.
Can I surrender a cat?
Possibly, depending on the situation and available foster or placement capacity. Contact CATR before bringing or leaving a cat anywhere.
What areas does CATR serve?
CATR currently lists Cozad, Lexington, Gothenburg, Eustis, Farnam, Elwood, Darr and Willow Island as service areas. Contact CATR if you are nearby but not sure whether your location can be served.
